Research Focus:
Basic and clinical research of corneal transplantation, diagnosis and treatment of infectious corneal diseases, ocular surface reconstruction surgery and dry eye, ophthalmologic instrument and internet medicine.
Main Research Areas:
Has been engaged in the clinical and research work of ocular surface and corneal diseases for a long time. Contains rich clinical experience and is a pioneer in the field of ocular surface and dry eye in China. It is the first in the world to propose the use of decellularization method to construct porcine tissue engineering cornea, and the first to report the successful clinical application of porcine tissue engineering cornea constructed by this method in the world. His main research interests include corneal and ocular surface diseases, including the mechanism of limbal stem cell proliferation and differentiation,diagnosis and treatment of dry eye and its product development, research and development of tissue-engineered cornea, application and mechanism study of amniotic membrane on ocular surface, pathogenesis of ocular surface neovascularization.
